This Sax Dakota XR-52 tenor saxophone is made of exclusive bronze alloy finished with a semi-matte black body, silver-plated neck, and rose gold-plated keys, key cups, and trim. Featuring a 6.26” large bell gradually tempered from the bottom bow and internally finished with a bright Black Onyx, it is designed to produce a smooth, dark sound. Stainless steel rods ensure flawless action, and its low-profile Pisoni Pro pads produce outstanding resonance and even intonation. It features double arms on low C/B/Bb keys, Mother of Pearl Abalone key pearls, and extensive engraving that aesthetically matches its mechanism. LIMITED EDITION: this particular XR-52 tenor was specially built for saxophonist Chuck Finch, and thus features rose gold keys instead of the original raw unfinished bronze on standard XR-52 tenor saxophones.
This saxophone is in very good condition with some minor cosmetic wear. Some of the plating is worn off on the key rods. There is some other light wear, but overall this sax looks beautiful. Please see photos.
